Welcome to our community centre website. The purpose of this site is to let people who live in the local community know what goes on at the centre, and what is available for them to participate in. As a self funding community centre we really need the support of the local community.

Bernie Scott is fast becoming one of the few of the UKs most popular mediums, increasingly her reputation builds quickly as she moves into new areas. Her bubbly personality, her very unique gift and reputation carry her rather than TV.

13 Nov: 80s Dance Party
Back by popular demand ! Yes back to to the future, and back to Hanham . Lively 5 piece band, playing over two hours of 80s floor fillers, plus DJ Andy Heath. Doors at 7:30.
Ticket only event. Tickets are £10 each or £8 for groups of 10 or more. Email Smackthe80s@gmail.com, call 07446 197444 for tickets or limited number available at the Centre. Comfortable Dancing shoes advisable, 80s wear welcomed !

Just a reminder - the centre car park is private for those using the centre only, and if you park here for other reasons your vehicle could be taken away by DVLA....

Function Suites

Decoration of the Elbrow suite is almost complete, with some lighting still to delivered.

We have two function suites, each with their own private bar and stage area. The larger (Elbrow Suite) can hold 200 people for a function, and is typically used for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays as well as concerts. The smaller (Wessex Suite) holds 120, and is more cosy and intimate than the Elbrow, and is used for wedding receptions, quiz nights, birthday parties etc. The Elbrow Suite has a fully working stage with hemp lines, curtains and lighting grid.

The Lounge Bar can also be hired for private functions, and is typically used for funeral receptions, christening receptions as well as corporate events.
We also have a large field adjacent to the premises which can be hired in the summer - typically for private parties, fetes and car boot sales.

Meeting & Activity Rooms

We have on offer a range of activity rooms suitable for a range of meetings and activities - the larger ones (Avon, Whittucks, Ridgeway) are popular for physical activities such as keep fit, Salsa and yoga - as well as larger corporate meetings and training; while the smaller rooms (Gloucester, Wesley, Somerset) are popular for small meetings, seated activities such as lace making, chess, card crafts etc.
The Whittiucks and Ridgeway rooms have a hearing loop installed.
