Flint Street Nativity (Hanham Players)
Hanham Players Autumn production will be Flint Street
Nativity - you might have seen it on TV. The Flint Street Nativity was
originally a TV comedy produced for Yorkshire Television and aired during
Christmas 1999. Tim rewrote the play and added music for the production at the
Liverpool Playhouse. The eight-year-old pupils of Flint Street Primary School,
all played by adults, perform the nativity play for their parents. The story is
based on real events, collected over a period of ten years from members of Tim
Firth's family and friends who were teachers. Tickets £7.50 and
£6.50 - on-line, by post or from the office.
Following the success of the Michael Jackson
Experience in 2009, we are delighted to be able to bring to Hanham, ABBA
Inferno. The date now on sale and can be
ordered
online. Tickets are : Adult £15 on the door (£13 Advanced),
Conc £12 on the door (£10 Advanced) - HCC members £10
(Advanced only).
Due to a lack of volunteers to
help organise and manage this event, we have decided not to hold a party this
year. If we get some new support, we hope to have a NYE Party in
2011.
